Workshop 1: Nine Patch Curves Quilt Workshop
Description: Come learn one of Angela's favorite quilts from her book, A Quilter's Mixology. This playful design incorporates elements of traditional and modern aesthetics. It is perfect for both the beginner and more advanced quilt maker with one size curve and lots of squares. The real fun here is the layout of colors and the opportunity to fussy cut your favorite fabrics. Start the day with plans for the small size of the quilt, but don't be surprised if you end up making it larger!

Time: 10 am-4 pm
Location: Roeland Park Community Center, Room 6
Cost: Member $115; Non-Member $125

Workshop 2: The Orla Quilt Workshop
Description: Inspired by the iconic designs of Orla Kiely, Angela created this quilt of alternating petals. Explore Angela's technique with disappearing seams and curved piecing that she discusses at length in her book, A Quilter’s Mixology. With a focus on the highly graphic aspect of the pieced design, this quilt comes together quickly yet very effectively. An added plus of being Accuquilt friendly allows for quick and painless cutting of each curve piece.

Mid-Century Inspiration
I love mid-century colors (and designs!). How fun would it be to create a quilt inspired by these designs? The top image is from artist Jenn Ski and the others are from El Gato Gomez.
