Inspiration of the Week - July in January

This week we are featuring a great improvisational quilt! Anna, of Six White Horses, made this quilt for a couple of her oldest friends. Her color inspiration came from the dress she wore to their wedding years before. They requested improv and that it be easily hung on the wall. This is what she came up with:

We think it's so interesting! The colors are wonderful and it's bright and airy. It's a great piece to have on the wall. Anna made it to go with pillows she'd made previously. Straight line quilting and scrappy binding completes the look.
