Angela Pingel of Cut to Pieces will be our guest speaker at our June meeting. She is also teaching two workshops and there are available spots in each workshops, which we are opening to the public. If you're interesting in taking a workshop from Angela, information about each workshop is below along with a sign up link. If you have any questions, please feel free to email kcmodernquiltguild@gmail.com.

Workshop 1: Nine Patch Curves Quilt Workshop

Description: Come learn one of Angela's favorite quilts from her book, A Quilter's Mixology.  This playful design incorporates elements of traditional and modern aesthetics.  It is perfect for both the beginner and more advanced quilt maker with one size curve and lots of squares.  The real fun here is the layout of colors and the opportunity to fussy cut your favorite fabrics.  Start the day with plans for the small size of the quilt, but don't be surprised if you end up making it larger!

Workshop 2: The Orla Quilt Workshop
