Inspiration of the Week - Equilibrium

This week's inspiration is all about balance. Cinzia of deux petites souris created her Equilibrium quilt as an exercise in searching for balance. The colors are definitely modern, and we just love how graphic it is.

Inspiration of the Week - Modern circles pillow cover

This week's inspiration post is a great, modern circle pillow cover. It was made by Kirie of Shape Moth for a flickr swap group called For the Love of Solids. We love the colors and the clean, geometric feel of it!

Inspiration of the Week - Scrappy Chevron Quilt

Kati of From the Blue Chair provides us with our inspiration of the week this week. She wanted to make a chevron quilt and was searching the internet for ideas. Not finding exactly what she wanted, she came up with her own design! We love how this scrappy chevron is pieced continuously!

The colors work together so well. And she backed it with minky! How soft is that?

Inspiration of the Week - A Touch of the Bends

This week's inspiration was inspired by the quilts of Gee's Bends among others. It's is also Nova's (of a cuppa and a catch up) first quilty finish of 2012! Created with upcycled shirts and solid linen, this quilt is purposefully wobbly at the edges. We love it's unique look!
